Dr Kung’s primary research areas are economic theory, public economics, and urban and regional economics. His research articles have appeared in the Canadian Journal of Economics, International Journal of Game Theory, Journal of Economic Theory, Journal of Mathematical Economics, Journal of Public Economic Theory, and Regional Science and Urban Economics. Before joining ECU, Dr. Kung taught at Saint Louis University, Academia Sinica, City University of Hong Kong and Washington University. Since 2011, he has also served as the vice-president of the Chinese Economic Association in North America.
