Rising Economics Stars Ceremony
Economics faculty recognized its high-achieving students at its inaugural Spring recognition ceremony on Feb. 23. The first group of students recognized are the “Rising Economics Stars”. These are the students who during the past three semesters have received either an “A” or “A-“ in both of the introductory economics courses. The second group of students recognized are all economics majors who have been inducted into the International Honor Society of Economics: Omicron Delta Epsilon. All inductees must meet the following criteria:
- Have taken 12+ hours of Economics
- Have declared Economics as their Major or Minor
- Have a 3.0+ GPA cumulative
- Have a 3.0+ GPA in Economics courses
