“I decided in my Senior year of high school to Major in Economics because I took AP Micro and Macro Economics and the teacher who taught the classes was an amazing teacher who showed me just how enjoyable Economics could be. I have always loved learning, and I love subject that are never ending and always changing which is why I felt economics was perfect for me. Although I was never good at math and I still don’t enjoy it, Economics made it worth pushing my comfortability because learning about how people’s habits can affect entire economies was too interesting to pass up.”

“I then chose ECU as the school I wanted to study Economics at because of the amazing results the department has produced and also the great work I had heard of the professors doing here.
